to explore and tease out!

I’d have thought
we all had it
in equal share
But yet when I expose
my own
folks are a little surprised

My vulnerability
is admired
thought to be beautiful
even a treasure

Where’s yours
hidden under the doona
not to be shown
why not

It’s a fundamental part
of the human condition
nothing to be considered
a weakness
but a truth

The opposite side of the coin
is to be hard hearted
not recognising
the fragility of our souls

For once we might be
In this together
sprouted so often
in a very wrong context

Show your heart
at its most vulnerable time
and you will grow strength
at that very moment
for being honest with yourself !
