So I bought a house
another one
to replace
the one I lost

Seems a moment
of congratulations
from all about
a happy day

But underneath it all
I loved the house I had
the new one will bring joy
allowing a fresh start

So many icons of my life
will not be there
replacing them an impossible task
not many new art works I buy

The sun will shine
on Mollymook beach most days
I’ll be there in walking distance
from a new blessed place

I’ll count my fortune now
in steps of resurrection
to a new and wonderful life
while time permits!
