Of material life
To scatter to the winds
And the eternal sea

First to Bill Armata
who built that wonderful house

To the gods of all time
who nurtured my fate
then and now
who saw me through
the worst of times

To my family so close
who spent so much time
celebrating over great feasts
making my house a home

To all of the little children
over many years
who had so much fun
that the spaces provided

To all of the many friends
who made the ambience
memorable with their gifts
of attendance and sharing

To the plethora of birds
that came to visit daily
displaying their confidence
in a safe place

To my garden
that fed us copiously
constant herbs and fruits
made into jams and chutneys
so delicious

To me finally
who lived and shared
my home
with so many
opened hearted I hope

So goodbye
