I spoke to you last
about finding peace
I did have moments
of resolution
new directions found
a brand new life beginning

Major disasters however
are not so easily solved
the loss and destruction
niggles it’s way back into the mind
what prayer do I need to offer
to the Gods of all time
to ultimately find lasting peace

I hear you my dear Fra
saying it takes time
building a new story
of your days now
writing new memories
into the chapters of your life

Providing a barrier of protection
from a harsh past
casting over quilts of love
beneath I might feel
whole again
dreaming out into the universe!
