These days of recuperation
And I find it’s a three part event

First is understanding
The part care and compassion
For all and the planet
Play in this troubled time

Next comes creativity
In its many forms
Ways of exploring
Where we are on this lonely planet

Then comes connectivity
To your family, friends
And the broader community
Without which we are lost and isolated

Put all three together
You just might find
A way forward again
Flying on the wings of the Phoenix

The ashes becoming
A garden raising new hope
And with some care and attention
A thousand flowers
Will bloom again!
