The second wave has arrived
as we suspected
the total loss
of all was dealt with initially
much to be done
find a place to stay
buy some socks and underwear

A second wave of grief
is hitting us now
while mad things are going on
hardly leaving a space
for our particular problems

My space is empty
emotionally
don’t where to turn
around the corner
there will be another house
will my soul sit easily there?
