My ceramic frog is amazed

To a photo of
My wrinkled brown skin
He’s sitting there now
With a huge grin
Loving that people
Care for his kind
He’ll be there
For years to come
Keeping me company
Reminding me of strength
And resilience in troubled times
He’s a rock in my life
A permanent feature
Of a garden to come
Reminding me forever
That out of the fire
There comes new life!
