In all of this time

In all of this time
Since the terrible fires
Of New Year’s Eve
That took away my home
All of my precious memories
I’ve not shed a tear
It was a state of shock
Leaving me struggling
To set up a new life
Which has been done
Settled into mollymook
With a wonderful house mate
A new garden being established
Purchases of a couple of beautiful objects
To brighten my heart
But today my tears finally came
Now there’s a waterfall.
Of tears pouring down on the iPad
Letting it all go
The pain and hurt stored up
Released at last!
So I’ll sit here now
With a bottle of whiskey
And cry my heart out
Cleansing my soul
And I’ll probably talk
To my monk on the mountain!
