In Sanity

I’m not sane
Are you
My head spins down
A vortex
Of altered reality

Sanity was once
A guarantee
Of daily reality
Not any more

Madness is adrift
In my mind
And observations
Of the world around

The merry go round
Of events spins
Creating a whirlpool
Of insanity!

Where do you
Place your mind
In the thick fog
Of today’s reality

Where can you sit
In this terrible muddled
Moment of now
Without going down
The plug hole
Of not knowing
What’s up
And what’s down

I crave for a moment
sitting in an armchair
Of sanity
Bathing in the light
Of knowing
What’s right
Or is it wrong?
