Lead us in a prayer
Of salvation
Not for our earthly sins
But from our stupidity

Many haven’t yet understood
The plea to stay home
Those are the people
Who need forgiveness or not

Their lack of respect
For the rules
So rightly put in place
To contain the plague

Not realising
The risks they spread
Throughout our community
We need to heed the warnings

In Italy for example
It’s been shown
How deep into the nation
Death can creep in

Loved ones lost
Without the chance
To say goodbye
Is that what we want?

Shout out loud
Your prayer for all to hear
If you want us to survive
Stay the fuck home!
